Media Training Program & Community Volunteering
Trainees receive media production training and learn the ins and outs of television production. Classes include hands-on training and basic theory on equipment operations. Advanced training programs and one-on-one sessions are also available.
Volunteers are an integral part of Pasadena Media’s community center. No shows can be made without the teamwork of community members. Gain hands-on experience while helping bring the visions of others to life. College students can get real-life experience in the media and non-profit industries as an intern. If you have a strong interest in media production, community development, marketing and/or public relations, don’t miss this opportunity
Begin by taking our brief orientation where you will learn about the history of community access and how it operates in Pasadena. Then tour the production facilities and get an introduction to the equipment involved in creating a program for air on the Arroyo channel.
