This series introduce the inductees of the 2018 John Muir High School baseball hall of fame. Part 1 focuses on the story of Alan Wiggins and his humble beginnings as a young baseball player in little league, pony league and started on John Muir high school's varsity baseball team in the 10th grade. His family tells the story of who inspired him to believe that he could make it in Major league Baseball and to have the success and the longevity of playing the game he loved. His story was told by his wife, children and his sister.
